In the hustle and bustle of G4 fans leaving Plymouth Pavilions after their concert on Thursday, one conversation dominated the crowd - Its such a shame the group are splitting up!                              The four-piece "Poppera" group who shot to fame on ITVs X Factor three years ago have decided to call it a day and performed to a sell out crowd on their farewell tour. The Group - Jon, Matt, Ben and Micheal - put on a show-stopping performance. Opening with a rendition of "My Way" the lads were on top form and their harmonies were simply astonishing.                                                              After mass applause they continued with Queens "Somebody to love" and a beautiful version of REMs "Everybody Hurts". G4 are known for pushing musical boundaries, and putting their own interpretations  into well known songs, and this concert was no exception. The group turned the dance track "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley into a slow ballad, this was a weird version, but I have to say it did work! However the highlights of the night were when they performed dramatic songs such as "Barcelona", which was sung as a duet with Lesley Garrett who appeared on a large video screen, "Jerusalem" and "Nessun Dorma"                               It was also wonderful to hear them perform the Lion King,s "Circle of Light" and "Can you feel the love tonight" as the songs suited thier voices perfectly. What made this concert even more perfect was that just before the encore, all the group appeared at the back of the arena and walked through the crowd, meeting fans singing "You'll Never Walk Alone", it was a great moment.    For the encore they performed "We'll Meet Again" and belted out Queens "Bohemian Rhapsody" which was quite apt as that is what they performed on the X Factor three years ago to win over the judges.   By the end the 3000 strong crowd were on thier feet and gave G4 a standing ovation - and quite rightly so. - Farewell G4, you will be sadly missed.
